Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning will initially open six Early Childhood Education Centers in Pennsylvania. Each location is uniquely designed to support the whole child, with stimulating spaces encouraging hands-on play and exploration in a nurturing, home-like environment.

  • Serving 150 children from six weeks to age 5

  • 46,963-square-foot Center with over 17,000 square feet of outdoor play area and an on-site community plaza
  • Serving 150 children from six weeks to age 5
  • Up to 80 employees

CHS Middletown

  • 48,692-square-foot Center with over 24,000 square feet of outdoor play area
  • Will serve 150 children from six weeks to age 5
  • Up to 80 employees

Our facilities

We believe children learn from the world around them. Our Centers stimulate and support healthy child development. Each CHS location will include:

  • State-of-the-art classrooms: Bright, comfortable classrooms with home-inspired touches and compassionate teachers
  • Family Success Center: Dedicated to serving enrolled families, connecting them to the tools and resources needed for success
  • Gross motor room: Expansive play area designed to support exploratory play outside of the classroom
  • Outdoor play areas: Multiple safe, age-appropriate playgrounds uniquely designed to keep children active and engaged
  • Innovation Studio: Created for hands-on learning and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) exploration
  • STEM Garden: A gardening space that invites children and adults to explore using STEM through elements of nature

Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning are subsidiaries of Milton Hershey School and will be staffed and operated independently of the Milton Hershey School core model.
