One United Lancaster: Panelists call for expanding access to early childhood education

Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning Executive Director Senate Alexander participated in a panel discussion with Lancaster County leaders, highlighting the barriers and opportunities for families in accessing early childhood education in Lancaster County. The “Conversation About OUR Community” was hosted by United Way of Lancaster County.

“The biggest goal for us is, really, how do we break the cycle of poverty, and how do we lead to greater long-term family prosperity?” Alexander said.

CHS will expand into Lancaster County beginning in 2026 with locations in Lancaster City, New Danville, and Elizabethtown.
