The CHS 2025-26 School Year Theme: One Team, One Dream

Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning introduced its 2025-26 school year theme Monday morning during a school year kick-off event, bringing together CHS staff across the growing organization, which is now up to 245 total employees.
The event also kicked off transition week, a week of professional development, classroom preparation, and team building, as teachers and staff prepare to welcome children back for the 2025-26 school year next week.
The new theme – One Team, One Dream – builds on the first CHS school year theme from 2024-25: Extraordinary Impact.
The event began with a reflection on the extraordinary impact made in the past year including two new Centers opening (Harrisburg and Middletown), 450 total children now enrolled, seven children accepted to MHS for kindergarten, 510 professionals hosted at the ECE Leaders Summit, 28 interns hosted, 17 teachers earning their Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, 755 health screenings provided to CHS children, over 100,000 meals served, and 86 children moving on to kindergarten.

One Team, One Dream encompasses CHS being stronger together when it utilizes team collaboration and values everyone’s contributions, recognizes the privilege and honor of championing Milton and Catherine Hershey’s dream, and remains one team with the same shared mission and vision even as it continues to grow.
The theme logo represents the people (children, families, staff, community) coming together to make dreams possible: The star represents the ambitious goals CHS sets. The blended colors represent each unique contribution brought to the team and combining them to deliver the CHS experience. And the held hands represent the interconnected work, reliability, and trust in the team has in each other to achieve its lofty goals.
