Regional Director
The Regional Director oversees the daily operations and high-quality outcomes of 6 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Centers in a defined area, providing early learning, family success, health services, and operational programming to over 900 children. Through oversight of 6 Center Directors, the Regional Director will focus on ensuring CHS Centers are executing CHS programming to fidelity, ensuring strong outcomes for children and families, compliance with CHS, regulatory, and accreditation standards, and operational efficiency and consistency, while ensuring costs are controlled within budgeted guidelines. This role is responsible for supporting Center Directors in achieving performance targets, optimizing resource utilization, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through the use of data and strategic planning. As a local leader, the Regional Director will be on-site at CHS Centers regularly, working closely with the Center Directors to ensure consistent quality, safety, and operational excellence. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Programs at the CHS Central Office and oversees an Administrative/Resource Coordinator to ensure strong planning, execution, and communication between CHS Centers and the Central Office.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of 6 CHS Center Directors leading extensive operations including early learning, family success, health services, and operations programming
- Implements systems that support consistency, alignment, and efficiency between the 6 CHS Centers
- Serves as a highly effective liaison between the CHS Central Office and Center Directors, ensuring strong communication, timely issue resolution, and effective cascading and execution of annual implementation plan deliverables and outcomes
- Manages accreditation and regulatory compliance across the 6 CHS Centers
- Audits budgetary spend to ensure resources are allocated appropriately
- Develops regional and center strategic plans to meet CHS-wide goals
- Cultivates relationships with stakeholders and provides market insights to Central Office and Center leadership
- Supports development, planning, coordination, and evaluation of regional activities. Provides support for professional development planning days and ensures training aligns to center objectives.
- Collaborates with Sr. Director of Programs to provide data and other updates to the Executive Director in support of Board of Directors and Board of Managers meetings
- Orient and mentor new CHS Center Directors
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field required. Master's degree preferred
- 8-10 years of related experience
- Knowledge of NAEYC accreditation and the process for Center application
- Regulatory expectations of covering agencies for Early Childhood including both County and State departments that have oversight
- Knowledge of Presentation software
- Ability to travel to and from multiple Center locations
- Stand and sit for long periods of time during classroom observations, meetings, and trainings

- US work authorization and successful completion of pre-employment background checks and clearances
