Enrollment Coordinator
The CHS Enrollment Coordinator is passionate about ensuring that children receive high quality education and support. This individual is responsible for implementing admission policies, procedures and strategies set at the Central Office. The Enrollment Coordinator will specifically assist with managing pipeline-building activities including working with applying families, entering family data into database systems and completing recruitment / outreach activities (e.g., Center tours, open house events). This individual will report to the Family Success Manager and will work closely with families to make the enrollment process as seamless as possible. The salary range for this positions is $24.97 to $33.33 per hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Building strong relationships with applying families and offering sufficient information and full support throughout the application and decision process
- Collaborating with the Family Success team and implementing admission policies, procedures and strategies
- Embedding Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity efforts in the enrollment process
- Planning and organizing information sessions, email communications, informational flyers, and phone calls when necessary
- Being well-versed and prepared when providing key materials and resources to families concerning enrollment
- Ensuring organization and accurate data entry of all files required by OCDEL or other licensing/accreditation entities
- Working closely with Central Office Enrollment Management & Family Engagement Director to create a smooth admissions and enrollment journey for families
- Strategizing and executing recruitment and outreach events for local community
- Having a high regard of confidentiality and respect when dealing with sensitive family data and circumstances
- Collaborating with the Family Success team to facilitate transition to kindergarten
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Successful experience in Admissions, Marketing, Family Engagement and/or Communication
- Demonstrated understanding of and ability to effectively work with low-income families
- Responsible, enthusiastic, and cares about working in a mission-focused organization
- Willingness to be held accountable and receive feedback
- Comfortability with technology including MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and/or willingness to learn
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to influence, lead, and educate teams
- Commitment to the mission and values of CHS and MHS and demonstrated high degree of integrity as all MHS and CHS staff are considered to be role models for children
- Ability to synthesize and present significant information to applying families in a digestible and smooth manner
- Ability to build strong relationships and build a reputable brand for the CHS enrollment process
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Ability to proactively identify problems and implement solutions
- U.S. work authorization and successful completion of pre-employment background checks and clearances
