Harrisburg Magazine: Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning, Transforming a Child’s Potential into a Reality

In a recent Harrisburg Magazine article, Christina Heintzelman covers Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning (CHS) and Milton Hershey School’s (MHS) initiative to initially develop six cost-free Early Childhood Education Centers in Pennsylvania, including one in Harrisburg slated to open in 2024.

The piece featuring MHS and CHS President Pete Gurt, CHS Executive Director Senate Alexander, and CHS Harrisburg Center Director Malissa Lorenzo (Doster) highlights CHS’ mission to create high-quality learning communities that nurture, educate, and empower children and families to lead fulfilling and productive lives. It also provides insight into CHS Harrisburg and what the addition of the Center means for area children and families and the broader community.
